Juilliard Jazz Presents ‘Masters of Orchestration’

Juilliard Jazz will present the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra and guest conductor, alumnus Brandon Lee, in the “Masters of Orchestration” show, featuring the music of Tadd Dameron, Neal Hefti, Thad Jones, and Gerry Mulligan on Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Juilliard’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater. 

Members of the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra are: Zoe Obadia and Kevin Oliver (alto saxophones); Gideon Tazelaar and Ruben Fox (tenor saxophones); JarienJames Jamanila (baritone saxophone); Giveton Gelin, Noah Halpern, Jonah Moss, and alumnus David Adewumi(trumpets); Brendan Lanighan, Jacob Melsha, Jasim Perales, and Rashan Salaam (trombones);Aayushi Karnik (guitar); Sean Mason (piano); Felix Moseholm (bass); and Petros Anagnostakos (drums).
