Jazz at Lincoln Center Announces New Digital Advisory Council

Jazz at Lincoln Center recently announced the institution’s first Digital Advisory Council (DAC), formed to provide insight and guidance on harnessing technology and social media for audience development, digital distribution of performances and educational products, and other institutional imperatives.

The inaugural members of the Council include private investor W. Lance Conn, Etsy COO Adam Freed, iTunes senior director Robert Kondrk, Google engineering director Marcus Mitchell, YouTube Partner Development head Elizabeth Moody, and Venrock investing partner David Pakman.

“As our 25th anniversary season begins, there are more outlets for audience development, education and outreach than have ever existed,” said Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. “We are fortunate to have such a distinguished group of elite digital media thinkers and doers willing to lend their time and expertise to furthering our work bringing people together through swing.
