DC Jazz Festival Launches At-Home Music Series

DC Jazz Festival (DCJF) has announced a set of performances through its free video series, “DCJazzFest From Home,” featuring never-before-seen footage of DC JazzFest performances from years past, along with robust live-streamed sets from DCJF artist alum.

Shows will be hosted on the DCJF YouTube channel and Facebook page, and viewers may donate to the Series Support Fund to directly support both the featured performers and the DCJF Music Education Program.

DCJazzFest From Home kicked off Saturday, April 25 with a 2018 performance by pianist Mark G. Meadows’ band at DC JazzFest at The Wharf. The free video series continues every Saturday, now through June at 7:00 p.m. (EDT). Upcoming performers include Melissa Aldana (May 9), Gregoire Maret (May 16), Ben Williams (May 23), Rochelle Rice (May 30), and Ola Onabule (June 6).
