Interplay Jazz & Arts Workshop Set for June in Vermont

The 2013 edition of Woodstock, Vermont’s Interplay Jazz & Arts workshop is set to include a variety of learning experiences for students of all ages and skill levels, including classes from notable jazz musicians like Dominique Eade, Fred Haas, Michael Zsoldos, Gene Bertoncini, Sheila Jordan, and more. Big band workshops are also available.
Show organizers say that the camp’s programs “are designed to engage the whole student – mind, body and spirit – in the realization of their artistic and creative potential.” This year’s program also includes visual arts classes in painting, drawing and film creation, focusing on the intersection of art, improvisation and jazz. Admission includes include two meals per day, concert tickets, and evening activities.
