JazzWorks 2019 Adult Jazz Camp And Composers’ Symposium Commences In August

JazzWorks 2019 Adult Jazz Camp and Composers’ Symposium take place this year from August 12 to 18 at CAMMAC Music Centre in Harrington, Québec.

The Composers’ Symposium and Practice Retreat runs from August 12 to 15, helping musicians hone their writing and arranging skills. Guests can also refine their original tunes with one-on-one coaching from international jazz composer greats: pianist Jean-Michel Pilc, saxophonist Kirk MacDonald, vocalist/songwriter Sienna Dahlen, and bassist/camp music director Adrian Vedady.

The Adult Jazz Camp takes place from August 15 to 18, where guests can polish their jazz theory and performing skills with innovative Canadian and international jazz artists on Lake MacDonald in the Laurentians.

Registration starts at $735 CAD ($555 USD) including tuition fees, accommodation and meals.
