Legere Reeds is pleased to announce a brand new online training program for retailers and their associates. The new “Legere Pro Program” to be introduced at NAMM 2017 features Legere President Mark Kortschot in 6 short training videos discussing topics based on the most frequently asked questions from customers, retailers and their associates.

Developed in conjunction with retailers and end users this new online program discusses such topics as but is not limited to:

  • The history of Legere Reeds
  • The benefits for consumers of Legere reeds
  • The material used in Legere reeds
  • How Legere reeds are made
  • The quality of sound from Legere reeds
  • The types and cuts of Legere reeds including the differences between classic and signature cuts.

Featured at the end of each of the 6 segments is a short, simple multiple choice quiz.  Once, completed all the questions, the retailer will become a certified sales associate, and once the majority of the sales associates in store have been certified, the retailer will become a Legere Pro Dealer and part of their preferred network of dealers.

Each associate that takes the test online and successfully completes it receives a certificate and a Pro T-shirt. Once certified as a Legere Pro Retailer, a Legere Door decal will be issued.

Elvy has this to say about the program:

“In my travels I have found there is a real thirst for knowledge at the store level about our reeds. As they grow in popularity, a real need for training at this level became very evident. It was Mark who decided to be attentive to the needs of our customers”. Elvy goes on to say, “At Legere we believe that a knowledgeable representative leads to a happy customer and a happy customer means repeat business. We want to empower retailers and their associates to give their woodwind customers a real freedom to perform. Giving your customers more time to play music and less time to worry about their reeds is what we are all about. Your participation will tell your customers you are invested in their success as an artist”.

Kortschot, Elvy, and the rest of the Legere team will be on hand at NAMM 2017, Booth 3514 to answer questions about this empowering new program. The link to this online test will be released at NAMM. Make sure to stop by Booth 3514 to pick the link and additional information.
