Pablo Ziegler Trio Wins Grammy For Best Latin Jazz Album

The Pablo Ziegler Trio won the 2018 Grammy Award for “Best Latin Jazz Album” with their new release Jazz Tango (ZOHO).  Ziegler, who honed his piano and composing skills working with fellow Argentinian Astor Piazzolla, presents his U.S.-based trio of world-class Argentinian collaborators, Hector Del Curto (bandoneon) and Claudio Ragazzi (guitar) on the album.

This Grammy victory follows a win for Best Tango Album at the 2005 Latin Grammys, along with four additional nominations from 2008 to 2016.

Ziegler’s will premiere his new work “12 Horas” on September 21 in Denison, Ohio at Denison University, and also will perform on September 14 at Virginia Tech’s Moss Art Center.
